Certified quality
We endeavour to achieve the best for our customers. And we work every day to do this. Our internal and external company processes are continually reviewed – by means of our own quality control, as well as external, independent inspectors. This gives us and our customers the assurance that our services meet the legal and technical requirements. And we know whether we reach the goals we set ourselves.
We are guided by the general standards of ISO 9001, the environmental requirements of ISO 14001 and the standards of SQAS and IFS. We are also AEO and Ecovadis-certified. This therefore ensures that the high quality of our products and services is officially confirmed. And we are happy to put ourselves to the test in this respect.
ISO 9001
Our company is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and was last inspected by TÜV SÜD Landesgesellschaft Österreich GmbH in December 2019.
ISO 14001
Our company is certified in accordance with ISO 14001 since December 2012. The last audit took place in December 2019.
SQAS
Since May 2014 our company is certified in accordance with SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment System) as technical quality standard issued by Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council) for the transport of chemical products.
IFS Logistics
Our company is certified in accordance with IFS Logistics since November 2013. The audit has been carried out by the certification company
Lacon in agreement with IFS Logstics Standard.
AEO
Our company (Berger Logistik Austria) has been certified as an Authorised Economic Operator – Customs Simplification and Security (Full) – AEO F since 8 February 2012. To this end, the customs office in Innsbruck has issued certificate no. ATAEOF128C8CV5.
EcoVadis
In 2021, Berger Logistik receives the acclaimed Gold Status and ranges in the top 2% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis in the freight transport by road industry.
Our membership in the SEDEX database shows our associates and clients how much we value ethical and social sustainability. The independent SMETA certificate guarantees our clients that we abide by these elementary principles on a daily base.
Since 2017, Berger Logistik has been audited as part of the 4 pillars model SMETA (working conditions, occupational safety and health, environmental management and business ethics). In June 2020, the SMETA audit was passed without any deviations.
